On Tuesday, 19 November 2019, the Entrepreneurship students of classes 11 and 12 had the privilege of visiting Asha Kirana Hospital, Mysore which works towards free and subsidised healthcare in the field of HIV-AIDS. The students contributed a sum of rupees One lakh to Asha Kirana Charitable Trust for their yeomen service to HIV patients. The visit was very insightful for the students and teachers who accompanied them. The managing team of Asha Kirana held a seminar where, students were educated on HIV-AIDS, its symptoms, side effects, misconceptions and myths.Mr. Guru Raja, Trustee, Asha Kirana Charitable Trust, spoke to students on the value of giving back to the society and taking up philanthropic activities. He proposed that the students should be volunteers for these charitable organisations so that they can be the next generation philanthropists and make a difference to the society.
