The journey of Vitaan 2019- Blending Bhavas and Ballet- was a unique repertory that took the audiencethrough the world of diversity. If culture is the crown of a nation, then each of its diverse dance forms are precious gems embedded deep within, adding sparkle and glory. This culture with myriad dance forms across India and the world around, was portrayed through different dance forms, by the enthusiastic learners fromclasses I to XII.

The magical ambience, décor and the colourful ensemble of costumes, was the result of months of planning, unceasing efforts and quest for perfection in execution. On 18 October, the programme commenced with an invocation to our motherland, seeking the blessings of the supreme power, praying for strength and energy for the event to be a grand success. This was followed by all students of classes I- V presenting the dance forms of the various states, spanning the length and breadth of India. The entire programme was designed to resemble a travelogue created through a train tour. The journey that began with the Kamsale performance of Karnatakaculminated in a breath-taking and enchanting grand finale, staged by dancers. From folk to fusion, the vibrant and vivacious performers had it all, perfectly blending trends and tradition, leaving everyone spellbound. !

On the 19th of October, the audience was taken on a virtual voyage through the presentation of dances that showcased dance forms and styles, from around the world. The staging of global dance forms began with the invocation of Sun God followed by an assortment of dances ranging from folk, ballet, hakka to hiphop.The show encompassed diversity and the globally gorgeous performers from VI to XII stole the hearts of the audience! The voyage on the second day too, culminated at India – the home that welcomes all with open arms! The energising and spell-binding grand finale that ensued, enchanted the audience and provided them with an experience of watching a 'Broadway Show'

This enthralling event is sure to enhance the personality and confidence of the young learners in the years to come. Vitaan 2019 - the celebration of the 'Year of Dance' at school, will be reminisced as a show that redefined excellence and class
