The Connect Programme (2019-20) for the newly admitted students of classes KG, Montessori , I-VIII and their parents was held on 3 June 2019 in the school auditorium. Our Principal, Ms. Shubha Achaiah, presided over the meeting. She extended a warm welcome to the new students and their parents, to the NPSI, Mysore fraternity. With immense pleasure she said that the 60 year old legacy of NPS group of institutions is a matter of great pride to everyone associated with this prestigious institution.

Ms. Shubha Achaiah stressed upon the fact that the parents should establish a strong connect with the school community and be involved in their child’s progress. The Telegram group for parents will help them to stay in touch with the school. She also mentioned that the KG and Montessori students who joined NPSI, Mysore this academic year will benefit greatly as it lays a strong foundation for their learning in higher classes. Ms. Shubha Achaiah congratulated the parents of these tiny tots for the same.

A panel of student speakers from classes XI and XII shed light on the various aspects of NPSI, Mysore to enable the new parents and students to understand the norms of the school. The confident and inspiring speakers spoke about values, etiquette, independent learning, use of electronic gadgets and assessments. Highlighting the aspect that grooming and personality go hand in hand, the speakers threw light on the importance of home assignments, almanac checking and good reading habits. This detailed orientation session helped the new students and their parents to know the protocols and best practices followed at NPSI Mysore , that have put the school on an elevated pedestal.
