NPS International Mysore has always believed that holistic development of learners takes placewhen they are facilitated with a platform to perform. They blossom in personality, confidence and communication skills, when they are able to speak confidently, facing an audience.

With this as the backdrop, the school hosts Abracadabra every year, where young learners from the pre-primary, speak on various topics of interest. This academic year, the learners have enthralled the audience by an expedition of discovery into various civilizations of the ancient times - Indus Valley, Mesopotamian, Mayan, Chinese, Egyptian, Roman and the Greek Civilization. They spoke proficiently and with confidence, discussing about the culture, food habits, clothing, religion, music, art, entertainment and socio - political conditions, prevalent at time of these civilizations. They also mentioned about significant contributions and other interesting facts related to these them. Each group had innovative head gear, props and décor designed by the teachers which were related to the civilizations. A slideshow was prepared for all the civilizations, which gave a pictorial vision to the presentation by the students, creating the perfect audio-visual impact.

The tiny tots were trained for several months and have put in immense effort to get the right diction, pronunciation and voice intonation. The parent fraternity was in awe at the confidence portrayed by the young learners.
