Onam always invokes sweet magical experiences that cannot be expressed in words. On the day of Onam, the people of Kerala eagerly await to welcome king Mahabali with devotion. The unique flower decoration patterns, the dances, the games and the sumptuous traditional lunch make Onam rich in festivities. On 14-09-2019 the teachers at NPS International Mysore, celebrated Onam with a creative, grand and beautiful ‘Pookalam’. The programme started with an invocation song and speech describing the importance of Onam and teachers performed the traditional dance ‘Thiruvathirakali’. The traditional game ‘Uriyadi’ was organised for all the faculty members. In all, it was a day well spent with the aura of God’s Own Country, experienced at the school.
